It's a bit funny to me that aquanines are waterdogs, but not because the aquanines are a direct copy. It's because NO ONE on waterdogs follow the rules. Like- there's very clear rules that set waterdogs apart (only sand color fur, sand in specific places, no wings, VERY SPECIFIC rules on water color, paying $4000 dollars for a mediocre character, things like that) but it's all rendered moot because nobody follows said rules and the staff is just.. okay with this.
So, in other words, it's kinda the other way around, really. Waterdogs are just aquanines that you have to sell your soul to acquire, WHILE being bossed around on how to use said character.
